On day one, the doors opened to exhibitors and the public as well as dignitaries from both the Netherlands and Ghana who contributed to the theme of digitalization.
Exhibitors included: The GoodRoll, Gipc – Ghana Investment Promotion Centre, Perfect Pastry, Adonko Bitters, De Wolde Holding Investment Company, Green Gold Social Enterprise, Agric Aquaponics, Schippers Group, ICT Rafael Vigelandzoon, Crown Hill Properties, JL Properties, Wander Farms, Fruitwell, Korte Klottey Municipality Assembly, African Views, and Fresh Exotic Farm.
An introduction of the speakers of the day opened the floor for words and speeches from: Peter Kievoet, Director Economic Affairs, Mobility and Urban Development – City of The Hague; Mr. Vincent Gambrah, CEO Afro Euro Foundation-Organizer of the Netherlands Ghana Business Fair; H.E. Mr. Francis Danti Kotia, Ghana’s Ambassador to The Netherlands; Anna-Katherien Denissen, Dutch Enterprise Agency (RVO) Representative.
There was also an interview with Mr. Sander De Klerk, Founder & CEO, The Good Roll.
An introduction of Mr. Yofi Grant, CEO Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) followed.
Dr. Kwasi Boahene, Director Pharmaccess presented on a pharmaceutical business.
The Netherlands – Ghana Business Fair 2022 was officially opened by Honourable Herbert Krapa, Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry, and Peter Kievoet, Director of Economics Affair, Mobility, and Urban Development by the breaking of a chocolate bar from Ghana and each one of them chewing on a broken piece. This symbolism showed that each party, be it Ghana and the Netherlands are ready to do fruitful business.
